Today we learned all about how animals communicate with each other. Each team needed to build an animal with movement, lights and sound. Our advanced kids did not disappoint with their creativity! Well done!!

Lego League new recruits test their hypothesis with pulling forces in week 2!
What are forces??? Today the kids learned about forces, built a rover built to work. How much could the rover pull before and after we make modifications??
Advanced Lego League Goes Rogue!!!
Last week we explored nature and the relationships between predators and preys and how each have specific designs to help them either defend or attack! No other instruction, ideate, build, program and present. So impressed with the brilliance and creativity in this class!!
New Lego League Class I Recruits!
So excited to have classes start back up this September. Last week we welcomed a whole new group of recruits who started with learning about space and moon rovers!! Basic coding here we come!

Spy School Graduating Class
We recently had a new crop of Spy School graduates through the STEAM Jr doors. I am happy to report all excelled in morse code and code breaking, fingerprint dusting and crime solving. Well done new recruits!!

Discovering the frog life cycle through LEGO!
Great fun today taking what the kids already knew about the frog life cycle and building it through moving LEGO bots. They analyzed how to change their tadpoles into froglets and then finally into frogs by changing their creations but being mindful of motion and drag.

Lego League Investigates Earthquakes & Stable Structures!
What qualities make a stable structure in an earthquake? Can we predict which structures will stay standing at various earthquake strengths?? We built and tested them all!!

Last week we had fun adding and coding sensors in our race cars. How do we program to change car speed and what factors make our cars go faster??? We figured it out!!!
