Today we reviewed the first two classes talking about electricity and the components of a computer. Then we moved onto discussions of networks and the internet. Ask the kids about how messages are relayed across computers in a common language...hint hint we played a game where the "right" messages were delivered to the "right" place and a special message was received!! All kids left ready to ask Mom or Dad to show them where their "Router" is and can talk about the differences between a simple network and the internet.
The last half of the class each child planned and drew out their robot project for next week. We will make "artbots" to take home. Check out some of the cool ideas below!!
Last week's first HELLO COMPUTER class was a huge success! We learned all about electricity and drew a robot, added a circuit with conductive paint, threw in a battery and an LED and voila!! PS Did you know Play-Dough is conductive??
PSS Our HELLO COMPUTER class has more girls than boys!
